Bought as a Christmas present and assembled today. I'm a little worried about the design. Pros + Lots of pros based on what you've read. weight etc + the ropes definitely seem to be put together very well + there are 2 configurations for attaching to a tree that I like. not deep enough. You'll have to squirm to make sure it's a snug fit - the styrofoam around the ring seems very cheap. - the middle looks very plastic. Ropes seem more durable - not sure I'm happy with the quality of the ring's metal.
