Good day to you, A few months back, I made the purchase of the D5100 from Amazon. Because I needed to change the lens, I opted to test out the Nikkor 18-105 kit instead. When looking through the viewfinder of the camera and zooming in, the wind is blowing directly into the eye. This is the problem. I find it hard to imagine that this was included in the design. When I contacted the DS repair center, which was located in Hong Kong, they instructed me to hand over the camera and informed me that they would send it to Hong Kong and return it to me in two months. I was in the same Amazon Hong Kong store where they told me that we can't modify it but that we'll offer it a guarantee (that we'll send out a replacement SOAP dish), which is not something that is able to be done (I bought it specifically for a trip to Prague). When I used other D5100 bodies with this lens, I discovered that out of the three, two of them had the same issue. I made an effort to get in touch with the consumer protection committee; but, I was unable to secure a spot in their appointment waiting list; I will make another attempt. Is it feasible to acquire any explanation about the design of your new product from the sales representative of the other company? We appreciate your gratitude in advance.
