Really nice except for the eyelets

I work out in the mountains so it's always good to have one that makes things a little more comfortable. I really liked that it has 2 layers of neck. I can tuck one under my shirt, one over it, and one under my coat. It's really soft and warm. You can also put your head through the face hole and it's really thick and soft around your neck like a scarf. The laces are necessary to cover as much cold as possible. The only thing I didn't like was that the metal eyelets around the laces were covered in rust upon arrival. I originally bought one of these for my granddaughter in NYC, she is tiny and hates the cold so I ordered one for myself as I am 2000 miles away and want to make sure she gets good stuff. I was concerned about the rusting steel on her neck and the tetanus, but I assume most people feel the same way. I immediately contacted her mother and she had no rust on the grommets. I'm not worried about myself as there is a layer between the eyelets and your neck, but kids tend to be naughty. That's the only thing that bothers me, other than it's great for the price. I'll see how it holds up and would consider washing it. You should have used brass or aluminum but whatever, I'm glad I got the bad one and now she's a happy little traveler in the cold.
