I bought these clips to attach my keys to the faux leather strap I bought. I work well enough. It's a bit thick so getting the o-ring off the bracelet is still a bit tricky, but doable. The gilding is pretty solid. So far it hasn't faded, cracked or rubbed off. The rings themselves appear to be quite massive. They're durable, but you might want to consider the thickness of the rings themselves, rather than what you plan to attach them to. It would be more convenient if the rings were a little thinner for easier removal. Note that the o-ring opens toward the inside of the ring, not the outside. That's why it's difficult to detach from anything thicker than the rings themselves.
