I'm not sure if my cable somehow passed quality control but this product is terrible. Either there is no shielding on the cable at all, or the internal wiring is very poor because all you can hear when using this cable is a squeaky, distorted sound. I have two cheap $1 headphone extensions that I compared to make sure it wasn't my audio interface or some other issue. Other headphone extensions had no trouble with clear and accurate sound. There are also a few small snags in the cable housing, which wouldn't be as big if the cable were a softer nylon, but since the housing feels like a harder plastic material, the cable slips through your hand and gets snagged. to mean nothing. . I feel good. Overall very disappointing. I was really hoping I would have a cable to extend my headphones. It would be ideal not to use another adapter and cable, but this is not a good quality product.
