Review on 📷 Manfrotto XPRO Magnesium Ball Head Including Two Ivation Replacement Quick Release Plates for Improved RC2 Rapid Connect Adapter Compatibility by Justin Fletcher

This ball head works as advertised, comes with additional plates and screws straight into the Manfrotto leg system. The plastic parts (ie the locking system and all the screws to adjust the ball head) wear out after 3 days of intensive use in very harsh conditions. I'm worried they won't last. The ball head itself is a clever design that allows me to move and point the camera 360 degrees, but that only works in landscape mode. The vertical format uses the crop system shown in the product image, and this crop negates the ability to move smoothly 360 degrees. If the plastic parts were all metal and the vertical notch was replaced with a fluid system, this ball head would be worth the price. So I think this head is best suited for the album format in the studio.
