I bought these readers to use after cataract surgery. They were exactly as advertised. I haven't had them long but am impressed with their construction. They're plastic, but don't feel flimsy. They fit without adjustment and stay on my face. Although there wasn't a color choice, I liked that they are scratch resistant and have a spring hinge. I ordered lenses with the power recommended by my surgeon. These readers are great for reading and working up close without the distortion I've found with multifocal readers. They're a faint amber color as part of the blue light blocking feature, but this is completely unnoticeable when worn. As I suspected they are not working remotely or seeing a computer screen. They are packed in plastic ziplock bags, so be sure to bring any glasses cases you may need. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
