I bought this to replace a cheap plastic tank lever that broke a few days ago and I chose it based on average customer reviews. Most of the negative feedback on this has been that the lever had a lot of play before flushing and I agree that while the play is present it is minimal (1/8 - 1/4") and doesn't affect my overall flushing experience .The fact that it has play at all is why I only give it four stars.Play can probably be eliminated by adding a rubber washer to the assembly, which I would do if I cared about it. but it works fine for me.Since my toilet tank is crooked, I also had to bend the metal rod that attaches to the ball valve chain (sorry I don't know the official term for the sexually suggestive plumbing for this. ).In my other bathroom has you get the same cheap plus tick grip and i also wanted to be prepared for the inevitable day the n breaks.And these pins look beautiful in their stylish chrome and are relatively inexpensive G.
