These days shopping online for clothes is hit or miss, mostly a miss for me. I have problems finding clothes that fit my body proportions in person let alone online. So when I saw this, I thought it would be perfect for an upcoming wedding I'm in. The color in the picture was the exact match for the wedding color & after reading other people's reviews, I decided to take a chance on it.First, the shipping of the dress came from China to which it really didn't take long at all. However, if you have ordering this dress for an upcoming event, I would suggest to order it well in advance just to make sure you get in time.The material is polyester (95%) & spandex (5%), so it's very soft & somewhat weighty; but it's not too heavy when you put it on. It has enough weight to comfortably drape over your figure; but not weigh you down. The color is exactly what is shown in the picture & has a little bit of a shine to it. It also has a little stretch to it as well, which is really nice if certain parts of you are bigger/smaller than other parts (my hips & waist is my main problem area). Also, there is no liner or built-in bra in this dress, so you can wear a long skirt slip if you wanted. You can also wear a slimming body suit underneath to smooth out the body curves and/or boost up certain areas if you wanted too.The sizing is true to size to which surprised me to be honest. I thought it would be too big in the bust area (which is the issue I have all the time with clothes); but it fit me perfectly. The waist area has a little give (stretch) to it, which is great. Makes it easy for me to breath comfortably & it drapes nicely over my hips & buttocks, not to mention hides some of the bulges too. :)I will say that it is a little long on me, though. I'm 5"4' & there's about an 1-2 inches of the dress that sits on the floor. However, 2-3" heals solves that problem; but it is also very easy to hem up if need be.The dress can be machine washed on gently cycle & cold water; but it does recommend dry cleaning if certain stains (like deodorant marks) don't come out in the machine washing.I really like the dress & look forward to wearing at the wedding. I also plan on wearing it to future parties too.
