Review on πŸ’„ Cosmetic-Grade Titanium Dioxide for Soap Making, Crafts, Paints, Pigment Colorant | Resealable Pouch | PTR-630 (16 oz) by Angela Rodriguez

Shimmer free, blends well, lots of powder

I use it to mix with other powder pigments for lighter colors or alone for a white product. It seems very soft, no lumps, hallelujah. It's a nice matte white that can't be the glossy white flakes. I love a good glossy flake, but sometimes you want a matte white and don't need pearl. For that it works great. I also love how much of this you get compared to mica pigments. The amount used in my projects is small because not much is enough so this bag will last a very long time. I still didn't have any colored marbles when my dry pigment mixes got wet. If you're looking for a marbled look, I'd suggest carefully blending it into an already wet project and not making too much of a fuss about it. I said this in another review which is hidden because it talks about "sensing elements". I'm looking for a flat black pigment, an ultra fine powder, or a cosmetic grade bamboo charcoal powder. Obviously bamboo charcoal is delicate? Haha πŸ˜†. It gives a nice flat black to match that flat white. The two gently swirling together would look very chic. Maybe with the addition of a small amount of gold flakes? Wow, that would be nice. It's a large amount of flat, pure white that blends in beautifully and isn't shiny. Two thumbs up!

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
