A bit small for winter sports
The unit was relatively easy to install once bolts could be found to attach it. The ski supports used to be just attached to the railing but now they hold securely but I hope they don't fall off if you hit the road with your skis. If this is the case, you may need to put a screw through each of them to secure them. It would be nice if the wall rail was 6 inches longer then the skis on the rack would not be so cluttered that it would be very difficult to remove the average skis without bumping into something else.
