A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!
I bought the camera in July 2022, I considered it between the second and third versions of the A7, but I decided not to save money and took the top three. From the moment of purchase, there was not a single moment of disappointment. Paid for itself in just six months. Because before that, there were also cameras from Sony with a menu of problems that did not arise. I was very pleased with the weatherproofness of the camera, I filmed a drift compeion in the downpour, there was no moisture under any of the connectors, and nothing has changed a year later. I recommend this camera to everyone!
- — Excellent image quality -Excellent autofocus -Excellent battery life - Ability to shoot 4K - No overheating in 4K (firmware 3.1) —Weatherproof - Burst speed and large buffer — Fairly wide DD -Easy synchronization with smartphone - I would like to separately note the AF for the eyes of people and animals -Good work at high ISO, in JPEG you can shoot up to 25600 and upload it to social networks without processing (not suitable for printing) — At the time of purchase (2022) the complete absence of compeors.
- —Despite the video in 4K, it shoots only in 8bit 4:2:0, which limits the possibility of adequate painting in post-processing (this is not critical for me) -Matrix dust like a good vacuum cleaner - The stabilizer will not replace the steadicam, although it works well in the photo —For those who take the camera for the first time, the menu will seem like a labyrinth of the Minotaur
