Bought because I have a medium-sized dog who always wants to put his front paws on the center console. Just bought a new jeep, took the dog out and saw he can scratch skin. So I used a shirt to protect him. Then I came across this Amazon. It's quite soft, but could be softer. It's a nice black that goes well with the other blacks in the car. It has a nice little pocket that fits flat. It fits snugly to the center console and doesn't slide or hang down. The elastic is wide enough, I think it will hold up. I wonder if the summer heat is destroying the gum? I'm not giving full stars because the surface looks textured due to the weave of the fabric. But the material is thick enough to protect the skin underneath.
