Finally. Thunderbolt port with driverless USB 3.0, HDMI and Thunderbolt pass-through!

I have a 2011 MacBook Pro and for years I've wanted to add a reliable USB 3.0 port to it so I could use many of the current generation storage devices. Every device I tried (with the ExpressCard slot) was unreliable and you had to do backflips to find the driver on Chinese websites and hope they work. only to find that they either corrupt your data or stop working entirely when a new OSX update is released. This device uses the same chipset as current generation Macs. So if you're running the latest version of OSX, no drivers are required. Two other advantages: 1. Thunderbolt pass. This is a HUGE deal for me as my MacBook only has a Thunderbolt port and no HDMI port so my monitor is connected to a Thunderbolt port and has to be at the end of the chain. Also, I have a couple of Thunderbolt drives that don't have passthrough. Essentially, I'm preventing myself from using the drives and my monitor at the same time. HDMI. Some Thunderbolt docks don't have HDMI ports, so even though they have a pass-through port, you still lose a port if you use it for a monitor.3. This device has 3 USB 3.0 ports. Some docks only have one.4. Gigabit Ethernet port. For laptop users, this is very important. This allows you to connect your LAN directly to the dock, so you don't have to tether it to your MacBook. Not only does this reduce wear and tear on the connector, it essentially leaves only one cable running from the dock to the MacBook. As a bonus, you can address the Ethernet port as a second port if you want to connect to more than one network.5. Thunderbolt cable INCLUDED. It doesn't seem like such a big deal, but Thunderbolt cables are expensive. I was pleasantly surprised to see they included one in the box.
