Given that we are all different, this hydration isn't enough for my dry, mature skin (I also live in the desert). For this price this is disappointing. I have since bought a moist skin cream which is heavier but absorbs well for me and works much better and is almost half the price of a silk cream. I mix them up for lighter daytime use. Once the silk cream is gone I won't be buying it again, but I might try the water cream instead in case I need a lighter moisturizer - again at almost half the price.
