Update! This company contacted me after my review and offered me a new radio or a refund. I went with the new one and it works much better! Excellent customer service to keep me happy. what they did! Thanks wow! Seems to be very static, when I turn off the radio after tuning into the station then it's static! It reminds me of the days when we had to hold onto TV aerials to get the best reception in the 1960's! Mostly at the weather station. and several local FM channels. Don't stop AM
