Big headache installing the taillight

It says it fits my bike but does not fit a 1998 Harley Davidson Sportster. Was I able to install it on my Sportster, yes, but that was on my side and I was willing enough to cut off part of the original rear brake mount with a grinder. The reason I chose this brake light was because I wanted to remove the signal lights to give it a cleaner look. The warning lights in the braking system do not draw enough current to flash. After you learn this, getting it to work will be a major headache.
