I have used other Mdrive products and found them great products. I think they found a good formula for an exceptional taste, actually a natural taste. I especially like their chocolate berry flavor found in some of their other products (BRAIN and GREENS). This LEAN product does not disappoint. The blood orange chocolate flavor has a good balance of the sweetness and astringency of blood orange with a distinct hint of chocolate flavor. It's amazing how a delicious drink can promote weight loss and weight management. A 28.29g serving contains 100 calories. This provides 18 grams of protein and 5 grams of total carbohydrates (including less than 1 gram of total sugars!). People who want to control their sugar metabolism and blood sugar levels are probably aware of the benefits of taking chromium. One serving provides 200 µg of chromium (from chromium picolinate, their Chromax product), which is 572% DV. Protein is obtained through the inclusion of 22.5 grams of whey protein concentrate. To facilitate weight loss, take 400 mg of Morosil Sicilian Red Orange Extract. They note that Chromax and Morosil have been clinically tested and added specifically for weight loss. I added this powder to almond milk (unsweetened vanilla, only 30 calories per serving) for a total of 130 calories. I would say the taste easily lived up to expectations and was quite tasty. You can use it as a smoothie base, but be wary of additional ingredients that can add calories and sugar. I consider this another winner from Mdrive. it gets a rating of 4.5 to 4.75 stars with a high recommendation.
