Review on 🔋 Dorman 603-026 Front Engine Coolant Reservoir: White Reservoir for Ford/Lincoln Models by Clayton Jimenez

This was a fantastic replacement for my old grungy opaque yellowed coolant expansion tank that originally came with my trusty 21 year old F-150 pickup. For many, many years the original engine suffered from epidemic gasket leaks and oil in the coolant and coolant in the oil. It was a nasty mess, but the Windsor V6 still honestly drove a total of 185,000 miles and then gave up. When the revised "new" engine went on sale I thought it would be great to replace that nasty expansion tank that couldn't be leveled at all. This Dorman tank is an exact replacement for the original. It fit perfectly and the job was very easy: remove and replace a few 10mm screws, loosen and tighten a few zip ties and you're done. It is recommended that you first completely empty the contents of the old tank into a bucket and then dispose of the contents safely. Then add fresh antifreeze after replacing the tank. It took a little over a gallon of fresh premix for me. It's so nice to see that clear tank showing the bright green coolant. I feel like I just kicked her out of the precinct again. (Oh, and I got this tank for a bargain as an 'like new' Revain stock return. I couldn't justify not getting it at such a great price! But even at market price, it's a great option to have because at Ford it's "NLA" is no longer available. So if you need it, grab it now.)
