Great value - outdoor sports and games

I've flown an octopus, looks great in the air, flies great in moderate winds. The gusts were actually pretty strong, but not enough to not pull too hard. With a gust of wind, it spins crazy circles, but stays in the air. The included leash is fairly light but didn't snap; In strong winds it's probably a good idea to use 30 or 50 pounds of line to be on the safe side. I wouldn't fly it in wind gusts over 25 km/h. It will most likely break into pieces. One thing to know about parafoils if you've never owned one: They fly relatively low to the ground because, unlike delta kites, they don't fly almost straight up the line. instead, the line exits at an angle less than 45 degrees. Unless you are on a beach or in the middle of a huge field where there are no wind obstructions, you may find that parafoils tend to fall to the ground when the wind temporarily decreases. Delta climbs high enough, even with a hundred feet of rope, that local trees and buildings are unlikely to get in the way, making it more likely to be left alone. On the other hand, parafoils have a great opportunity to get airborne completely by themselves when there is a strong gust of wind near the ground. In the meantime the wind had dropped. In short if you have decent wind conditions the octopus is great and I expect the delta too. cheap flimsy stuff that I also expect to be smashed in an instant. Worth the low price.
