First, my 4-star rating remains in effect until I have a chance to use it. I just finished installing today and my only regret is that I didn't wait and bought it on July 16th. I would save 30€! I bought a CW-1-1 (with 1 camera) and installed it on a trailer slide. This is my second rear camera so I had some experience with not only how to install it but how it is supposed to work. I did NOT want it to be connected to a "reverse" power supply. I wanted a constant power supply that you could turn on and off at will. I purchased an ONLINE STORE LED 10Ft 12 VDC 10A Heavy Duty Cigarette Lighter Adapter (On/Off Switch + Momentary POSITIVE TRIGGERED Switch) and an extra length of video cable from eRapta, both sellers here at Revain. I highly recommend purchasing the switch from the above seller as reviews of other switches here at Revain indicate a loose fit on a 12v socket and it is a very tight fit. If you need to cut and splice cables like I did, be careful when stripping wires and use heat shrink connectors. I already had the connectors and they are much easier to crimp than the small wires used on this type of 4 pin video cable. This installation method allows me to turn the camera system on and off as needed. Sometimes I like to turn it on when I'm driving on the freeway and want to see what's going on behind me. (just to make sure my boat is still there)

Pros

Cons
