Review on 🪒 Braun Series 3 32S Cassette: High-Quality Replacement Heads for Optimal Shaving Performance by Stacey Williams

I personally don't find the Braun film and cutter to be nearly as high quality as they used to be. Over the past few years I've bought several heads that last two to three months. Braun recommends changing the film and cutting heads about every 18 months! There's no way those new heads are going to last that long (unless you shave once a month)! My beard is not a thick beard, but a normal normal beard. I've been using Braun razors for probably 18-20 years and I love the razors. I've worn out two or three and now I have two, a series 5 and a series 3. I thought there was something wrong with the series 3 because it took 30-45 minutes to shave, and although I would put a new head on it ( about $25 plus shipping) it didn't seem to matter. So I bought Series 5. The same! One thing I found with all of this was that when I installed the new shaving foil and shaving head, for the first few shaves when I cleaned the shaving head the residue was mostly metal shavings from the shaving head and/or shaving foil. To me this means the design isn't precise enough and the cutter can interact with the foil which dulls the blades and therefore doesn't last as long as they should. As there is no other manufacturer of these nets and scissors, Braun keeps us all in a locked cage and knows it. Well, those are my feelings. I would have worked up the courage to try another brand!
