Quality cover! I bought a full/queen size for a full bed (that's a vintage frame and doesn't have a box spring under the mattress) and this bedspread falls a few inches off the floor on each side - perfect, um Hiding things that are kept under the bed. but no grinding. If the king size was larger (or the manufacturer started making a super or California king size version) I would buy another of these bedspreads for our master bedroom bed. The quilted diamond pattern has enough fluff/loft to camouflage and smooth out a bed that wouldn't otherwise be perfectly made. One downside is that this bedspread comes vacuum packed so it will take a while (or a couple of washes) for the creases to go away.
