I have been using this product for a long time and the main conclusion is that it works. The staining solution is easy to apply with the included applicator (and gloves) and rinses off well (it makes your shower messy, but rinses off easily). Here are some tips and tricks I've learned over time: - Try not to towel dry your hair too much right after the first use. The paint is easy to remove from the towel. Dry your hair by gently placing a towel over damp hair, or just let your hair dry naturally. - When washing your hair, use a shampoo designed for colored hair. Your normal shampoo will wash out the color immediately. - Try not to get the product on your skin and if you do, wash it off immediately; Otherwise, you will have dark spots for several days. Overall I am satisfied with this product. The price-performance ratio is right and does what it should. I don't know of any alternative hair color products that work as well or even better, so I would definitely recommend Touch of Gray.
