I've tried others and this works best for my beard's natural gray tone. The applicator is useless and I kept the brush that came with her ToG beard and it works perfectly. In fact, a few hours is best before shampooing it off. I see it getting darker and darker over the next 24 hours after that.

That's nonsense! The color doesn't last at all! It seems to me that it is washed off immediately. I had to apply it 4 times to have a slight difference. I did exactly as written in the instructions, even waited twice as long - still no results. It doesn't even cost 7 cents.

If you have black hair it turns white hair dark brown/orange but offers decent coverage. Also, I would leave it a little longer than recommended.
