The TS5120 is my first wireless printer and I wanted to maintain security and control over the data being delivered wirelessly via a wired USB connection to my primary device. Canon has not made it easy for itself. As mentioned in other reviews, the installation instructions seem confusing. Canon's setup guide folks: you need to fully follow the step-by-step procedure for EVERY possible setup scenario and abandon the "flowchart" method you're currently using. Another reason for deducting a star is Canon's insistence on continuing to contact their servers and marketing materials for me. You can turn this off, but commercial offers will be received by default. I'd rather pay a little more for a printer, have less expensive ink and no commercial offers! The printer itself is great and has upgraded features over my old Canon printer (although the control panel requires a 10 key pad). Congratulations to the engineers at Canon and thank you for providing a good, reliable product! I like the automatic two-sided printing and convenience of wireless printing, although I still don't like the airborne data for sensitive documents. I would be more trusting if he didn't talk to Canon's servers for marketing and I would know more about who has access to the data and why (outside my own router network).
