I prefer to buy ready-made roll bags for my Foodsaver machine. I cut buns a few inches too long when storing food that needs sealing after taking out an item or two. Foodsaver employees don't tell you that you can use your bags over and over again until they break. Seal. Simply wash with soap and water, rinse, dry and store for next use. When I freeze meat, I first wrap it in foil, then put it in the freezer until completely set, then put as much as I need in each bag and seal. As a result, the juice does not flow out when vacuuming. Even when defrosting meat, open the bag as soon as you take it out of the freezer. It also helps keep the juices inside. So far the product has been stable in quality. Didn't use my last order but hope it lasts as long.
