DII CAMZ10676 Fleur de Lis & Eiffel Tower Wine Bottle Stoppers "Hey Mama! . These "French" wine corks make a good housewarming gift. I think paired with a bottle of wine and a bottle opener these wine corks would make a great gift for anyone who just moved to a new place. It's not the best of construction and the mold the metal is poured into lacks the finish to really sound, but it's good enough. I intend to use them for myself at parties. Especially when your cork has gone awry and is falling apart, you need something to temporarily stop the bottle. They're great for that. I wouldn't use them to cap a bottle for more than a few hours. I'd rather have a fleur de lis set than an FDL and the Eiffel Tower. I guess I wish they were a better match, but they are. They really lack the details that would make them great, but they get the job done and are better than corks at dinner and cocktail parties. Edit Update: One issue I was just thinking about was that I don't know what metal they are made of. Outside. They're light and I'm pretty sure they're made in China. Now I'm worried if they contain lead! So I'll probably stop using them until I find information to reassure me that they don't contain lead. However, they will be a good decoration for empty wine bottles. I just don't want to use them on the bottle I'm drinking from right now.
