I tried these (and many other) capsules for my Nespresso Pixie. I love Nespresso brand capsules but the price is outrageous. These are by far the best non-Nespresso pods I've found. The coffee isn't bad, a strong cup of espresso, not as "interesting" as some, but the taste is good, strong, smooth. What I really care about is that I have an older Pixie machine and most non-Nespresso pods just don't work with it. Instead of flowing smoothly like it should, it comes out in drips and splatters, and honestly I'm worried about pump wear (not to mention the potential for a very hot water explosion). These pods actually work properly on my machine! Hooray! I think this is because the sleeves, while not all metal, are pressurized to properly press against the piercing pins in the machine.
