I rarely write reviews but I chose to do so on this product simply because the quality of the product is so lacking. Smell: Yes, the packaging smells very good and even when you shower with it, the scent is pleasant. However, it doesn't seem to last long after you've used it, and it doesn't retain the same strong smell as the original packaging. Humidification: It is now winter and the air is dry from the stove operation. My skin tends to get dry in these conditions. This soap is no better than anything I've bought at the store (Coast, Irish Spring, etc.). Anyway, my skin is drier than before. Durability: Hard to give this one star, but it lasted a week. If you use it daily, by the end of the week the strip will be a quarter smaller. To make matters worse, it falls apart quickly when it gets this thin, and trying to squeeze it to get more use out of it doesn't work. I would agree to 10-14 days usage but 5-7 days is not acceptable for the price. Notes: I bought the soap dish because I wanted to extend the life of the soap. It didn't matter unless doing without would further shorten the life of the soap. Conclusion: I would not buy this product again and in good faith cannot recommend it. It was probably a much better product before mass marketing took over. Now this soap is below par with a lifespan of weeks of bathing. Not worth the extra money.
