Review on YSURE Polish Classic Glossy Glitter by Heather Brown

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nice color choice, but the "deep red " is very different from the photos. The glitters are great.

After years of wearing and grooming acrylic nails I switched to UV/gel polish and manicures because I've heard many rave reviews with great results! dark colours, red polish and when I saw this set from YSure I really liked the shade R025 in the photos as it turned out to be exactly the burgundy shade I was looking for. Other colors looked good too - you can't go wrong with light pink and white. The price was right and it seemed like a good way to add to my gel nail polish collection. It came quickly. There are 10 colors. Keep in mind that these bottles (at 8ml) are about half the size of a standard bottle without UV polish. I have tested each color and made a swatch chart with the corresponding color number which I will include in the photos. I applied two coats of each shade and cured each coat under UV light for 60 seconds. I have to say that there were definitely some disappointments, especially with the R025 color which was the main reason for the purchase. It is very different from the pictures and although advertised as dark red it is actually dark purple. I got a full manicure hoping it would look different on my nails and it looks even more purple on my nails than on the sample. There isn't a hint of redness in it. I did a second sample by comparing R025 to the standard dark red. Other colors look quite similar to the photos shown, so that's a positive. The glitters are very pretty and have great coverage and depth. I am now on day 2 of applying polish. One nail has come off, the rest is holding up normally with no chips or peeling. In terms of application, the polish is thick but can be easily thinned by running the brush over the inner neck to ensure a smooth transfer.
