I have an old 17 inch gaming laptop (only used for gaming) that gets pretty hot. After spending too much time browsing different laptop cooling pads, I settled on this one. I'd like a choice of colors, but since it's mostly hidden it's a side issue. What I really like: quiet operation, large number (5) and location of fans, great price for the size. What I would have wished for: more than one USB port built into the device. Other features: USB power directly from the laptop, the ability to tilt the laptop at an angle, and a small triangular element on the front to prevent the laptop from slipping off the base at an angle, I thought, if you Actually using it on your lap would be a plus, but to be honest the sculpted ribs underneath this device aren't going to be very comfortable for long periods of time, and with the weight of a large laptop I can see it bucking one's hips Person squeezes when they do wear shorts or thin clothing. Since I don't use it like that, it's not a problem for me.
