It's a rubber cap, it's very nice to shoot with it, because it's not fabric, so the paint in the paintball doesn't stay there, and since it's plastic, you can take the keg, change the towel or paper towel and just wipe it down. The barrel cap will not fall off your barrel because it is very tight on top and sometimes the barrel cap will not come off even if you shoot it because it is very tight on it. Besides, it comes with an elastic band to prevent the Bell Machine from falling while you are walking with the paintball gun. It's also very durable, I've shot it a few times personally, and it doesn't have tear marks like footprints or anything like that. It's a very solid barrel cap and I would highly recommend buying it as it will outlast many other barrel caps due to its durability and strength.
