I have used this as a water bottle (tap water only) for several months. I haven't had any leakage issues. I dropped it once and although it didn't break at all, I did get a small scratch. If I didn't usually carry it in my purse I would probably make a case to protect it from scratches. I love how small it is and the flat shape is much better suited to fitting in pockets and backpacks. I understand the weight of the water I carried with me, always a full 20 ounce bottle in my bag, so it's enough to get to the nearest fountain or home after a commute. It also looks very stylish on my desk.
