The scarf is thin, consider one of the knitted sets instead.

Compared to other non-fleece N'Ice caps, this set doesn't feel as good. The scarf in particular - it seems short for an 8-12 year old and is made from a single layer of fleece which is thin and unlikely to keep the wearer very warm. Knitted sets are warmer and of better quality. Gloves and hat in this set, also made of fleece, lined with sherpa, very pleasant to the touch, warm and thick.
