I have two PetSafe collars well I have to say I had two then I used this kit and ended up with a third. First, all parts are in perfect condition. for collars. There is actually more to this kit than you need as it is truly designed as an all-in-one kit for both large and small breeds (or puppy collars). The problem is that the kit and collar work well together now. The design of the pins is hexagonal so they can be tightened with a small wrench, but this makes them fairly easy to snag and loosen with normal wear and tear. To mitigate this problem, after losing a dog in the yard multiple times, I decided to take steps to mitigate the problem by half. First of all, never use a wrench. The screws are cheap metal and shear when tightened with little to no effort. In my case, simply tightening with the little plastic wrench they give you ended up cutting the entire head off the pin and leaving the threaded part stuck in the box itself. bottom line? I can't get the threaded part out and the box is junk. Ordered a new collar. My recommendation for these collars is this: once you receive this set, if your dog is not a puppy, super glue/epoxy/elbow the pins in place. This still allows for corrective hits but saves you from ordering multiple sets of this kit.
