At a basic level of functionality, the monitor works well. But when you switch between landscape and portrait using the auto-rotate feature, the icons are scattered all over the place and the monitor can't remember the icon's position; You have to manually adjust the symbols each time you use the spin feature. When I called tech support I got a woman in India who didn't speak English well, couldn't understand my problem and didn't know anything at all. This was escalated to a "higher level" of tech support and I was assured they would call me back, but I never received one. My old Viewsonic monitor had a "Remember Icon" feature and was much easier to use. I will never buy another Hewlett-Packard product again. After two bad HP computers and now this one, coupled with non-existent technical support, I would advise anyone to look elsewhere than Hewlett-Packard for their computing needs.
