Review on πŸ”’ iTouchless Handheld Heat Bag Sealer (2-Pack): Airtight Food Storage Saver, Snack Bag Resealer, Chip Pack Sealer, Commercial Size Repack Sealing Tool by Richard Woods

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Why didn't I own this before!

So I saw these on a blog I follow and was skeptical but they were originally cheap and had a Revain Warehouse discount so I decided to give them a try. I usually buy groceries in bulk (chips, condiments, pasta, etc.) and usually have to put the groceries in a ziplock bag so they don't spoil between uses. This doesn't work for many items because they are oddly shaped or too big for regular ziplock bags. We're in the middle of a heat wave (and humidity) so even chips with a standard chip clip are getting old overnight. It seals EVERYTHING. As soon as I received it I ran through my kitchen sealing every package I opened and throwing away the now unnecessary zippers that contained things. I thought it would run out after a few packs but even the used batteries I started with last. Note that it's important to follow the broken English instructions on the back: hold in place for 3 seconds to start before continuing down the length of the bag and do the same on the back. Otherwise you will miss the edge of your package and air will still get in. I have a cryo-vacuum machine set up to seal bags, but when I need to pull it out and plug it in, most things just fit in the ziploc and stow away. a way. This is great because it's magnetically attracted to the fridge and easily accessible after an item is broken while cooking. I just wish it had a pocket ripper (small metal blade). I look for kitchen scissors more often now, but that's a small price to pay for stale fries and condiments.
