These were slightly smaller than expected, but that’s good—I was afraid they would be a bit intrusive and an eye soar. I’ve purchased several solar landscape lights over the years and usually have to replace them after a few seasons. Most of the lights I’ve used have been ground level, staked lights. I decided to give these a shot and mount them on my fence posts. They are designed for steps, but mount to posts easily. Installation took less than five minutes from opening the box to mounting. You just screw in one screw and slide the light on with the back bracket. It couldn’t have been easier. It has three modes, and so far I prefer mode 1 (motion sensing full light and then dimming until dawn after 25 secs with no motion detected). They look great, and I might order more to finish the fence line.
