Review on ๐Ÿงข Stay Stylish and Protected with Coolibar UPF 50+ Aqua Sun Skully Cap - Unisex Sun Protective Headwear by Debra Decou

No other leading brands claim SPF-free (Review updated by Coolibar on February 20, 2016)

is larger and has better coverage than I expected - on the downside it's too big and tends to bounce back when knocked off the wall. I appreciate using an independent service or testing method to determine SPF. However, when the stretchy material expands, you can see light passing through it. Hm. I would like to try a different size but I don't know what size, also I have to go to a retail store. This is actually a big deal as I had two friends who had scalp melanoma. Coolibar deserves a bunch of stars for entering this category - it was dropped but ignored by the guys who were supposed to enter - Nike, Tyr and Speedo. February 20, 2016 Sun protection: Dear customer, I can assure you that your products offer you the 50+ protection that we guarantee. Just like sunglasses, which protect your eyes from UVA/UVB rays, your Coolibar clothing does the same, but just like sunglasses, visible light still gets through. This does not mean that you are not protected. Here's a great explanation: UV rays are shorter and more intense than visible light rays, so even though you can see longer visible light through the cap, the cap still protects you from shorter UV rays. Coolibar tests so rigorously that we absolutely back it can guarantee UPF 50+ protection from day one to the last day you wear our product. Every year we submit more than 600 samples of our production fabrics to independent laboratories at every stage of production. We work with these labs to test the UV transmittance of every color and dye batch, so we can be reasonably confident that we're providing consistent UPF 50+ UV protection across all colors - wet, dry, new or used. Our products. The tests we use mimic the lifespan of a garment. We use consistent testing across all fabrics and rate the UPF after the garment has completed its full life cycle. We consider a garment to have reached the end of its useful life once it shows obvious signs of wear (excessive pilling or sagging, areas of thin/worn fabric, etc.). The lifespan of clothes can increase or decrease depending on how well you treat the clothes, how often you wash them, etc. Inc.
