Review on Fujifilm xD-Picture Card 128 MB: Reliable Memory Storage for Capturing Moments by Donald Gore

XD Stay here?

I am very impressed with the quality of the pictures taken with the two Fuji digital cameras that I own. I think they take better pictures than the much more expensive cameras, so I'll stick with the XD format. Yes, it costs a little more than the other formats, but just wait for a sale/discount like I did with each of the eight XD cards I bought. They offer high speed and extend battery life. I also bought a couple of XD accessories (USB readers, which impressed me). I prefer 128MB memory cards to larger memory cards because they allow me to keep track of what pictures I take on vacation. For example, I use one card one day in this place and that, and another card in another place. Just my system that works for me. The 128MB card allows me to take a lot of 4MP shots. I won't lose many photos either if a card fails or is lost for any reason. I bought a small case made to order for XD cards. Because of their small size, 16 cards fit into a small metal case that measures approximately 2.25" x 4" x 0.5". In case you're curious, some of these Fuji cards are made by Toshiba in Japan and some in Korea Samsung You can tell the difference as the Japan/Toshiba cards come in a slightly larger plastic case which is found in the clamshell packaging.
