I purchased this pillow at 28 weeks pregnant and have, so far, had much better sleep (and naps)! For reference I am 5' 2" and 125lbs. I think what I like best is being able to use my own head pillow with this. I also like that it has a smaller detachable side pillow. It still offers either tummy or back support where I need it most and keeps me from getting too hot. I would imagine a full C or U shaped pillow could be a bit stifling. This pillow fits well on the queen bed I share with my husband and doesn't take up too much room. He usually ends up snuggling it as well. My only complaint is the velcro that attaches the side pillow to the main pillow, sometimes through the night the fabric roles and the velcro is scratchy and sharp. Haven't found a way to remedy this yet.
