Last year Kathy started making noises with her mouth when she was ten years old. Squeezing, licking nose, constant noises when awake. She sits next to me or behind me on the couch. I had to wear headphones all the time. Finally, in November, I took her to have her teeth cleaned. The teeth were in perfect condition before and after the cleaning. She drove me crazy I said no. After a while she spread the licking all over her body. She went to bed and took a bath. I've read about OCD saying it gets worse as the dog gets older. So last week I gave in and bought her a collar. And so it was. I put it on when she starts making noises. She's just so relaxed. Now she's lying on the couch, not sipping, without a collar, waiting for her last night's walk. I'm so glad I got it.
