Oh my god! These gloves are amazing. Having recently adopted an 18 year old cat, we now live in a house with four cats and our apartment has gotten so hairy. So far, three out of four of our cats have fallen in love with these gloves. Sometimes they're hesitant at first, but very quickly they'll start purring and then move on to petting to show they like it. Our most affectionate cat, Jasper, even tosses from side to side as if asking me to pet his entire body. Our cats are small to medium sized (the largest weighs about 9.5 pounds and our little old cat weighs about 5.5 pounds). . I stroke older boys with my palm and fingertips at the same time. With our frail old lady, I mostly use one or two fingers at a time with very light pressure. If I've collected a lot of hair while wearing gloves, it's easy to wipe it off and start over. I hope we can use these grooming gloves to help our jealous little girl be more comfortable with our new little old lady. I figured they would be more comfortable passing the scents back and forth. So far, however, our jealous little daughter hasn't enjoyed the experience, so I feel I need to take it very slowly with her. But I've only had the gloves for a few days, so I'm not giving up just yet. I've attached a photo of our little old cat (because who wants to wear a pair of fluffy rubber gloves?)
