Review on ๐Ÿ”Œ PowerA Dual Charging Station for Xbox - Black: Wireless Controller Charging, Rechargeable Battery, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One - Xbox Series X by Jim Diaz

Significantly improved over the previous version

I had the Xbox One version of this charger and while it was great I have to say they have it perfected the design in this new. Pros: - They replaced the slippery backside texture with one that really suits the controller. The back cover fits the controller perfectly, now it looks and feels like a part of it. It really surprised me. I was expecting to get this cheap plastic cover. They replaced the green/red light with an orange/white light. The new light no longer dazzles so much in the dark and looks really stylish. It now seems easier to me to combine the controller with the charger. With the previous version you sometimes had to play around. - Includes back covers for Xbox One and Xbox Series X, both enhanced versions. If you still have an Xbox One controller, it's still worth getting. Also included is a charger. Which can't be said for some products (even the Xbox Series X controller doesn't ship with it anymore). Just as great and easy to use as the previous version. Just insert the battery and when you're not using the controller, place the controller on the charging dock. It's so simple and thoughtless. You'll never have to do anything else with the battery again. Cons: - While it's easier to line up the battery and charger, it still blinked randomly and I had to reconfigure it. This was also an issue with the predecessor, it shouldn't happen often but I'll see about it over time. - The micro USB cable is still in use. Not a big deal since it includes it, but it's 2020. It's like they've taken all the complaints about the previous version and improved them all. Pretty amazing. Highly recommended for anyone using an Xbox controller.
