This is my second pair of these shoes. I bought my first pair and they have lasted for years! You can easily get 2 years out of these boots in an office environment. I think I had my first pair in 5 years. The structure of the shoe (heel, sole, etc.) has never worn out. It got to the point that I wore them all the time because they were so comfortable and I could put them on. In the end, the leather of the shoes looked too worn due to improper handling of the shoes (changing the oil, walking in the garden, etc.). I still have the original pair to wear and the new pair will look more like my office shoes. I expect to get out another 5 years. They are very comfortable and last forever. Originally bought I bought a10-1/2. Size 10-1/2 did not fit this pair and I had to choose a size 11. My normal shoes are 10-1/2 wide and a size 11 is great.
