The unit came packaged well. It appeared to be sturdy and offered two ways to attach it to the car. The only small negative I found, and it could be my car, was that when I hooked it over the entry assist handles, it tipped slightly to one side. So I simply used a couple of zip ties to ensure it would not slip off during travel. The construction of the rod was good and the clothes did not slip sideways on it during travel. I would recommend this to anyone.
