They are very cute, they can be used for elegant or active wear. Please note that this is pure hosiery material and will stretch as such. Be careful when washing and pray your child doesn't ruin them the first time you wear them. I bought the black and white, both were just what I needed, just wish they would last longer. Not the manufacturer's fault, my kids love to dress up but are reckless.
