I bought these because I wear leather on my hands all the time and wearing these armbands solved the problem. They are warm and maybe too warm in the summer, but the protection is worth it. I bought this pair and a pair with gloves in the end and this pair is better because if you have big hands and the gloves are too small they will constrict your hands. The wrist strap works very well. If you often cut your hands in the garden, you can't go wrong with a pair of these.
