Great intercom!

Another great intercom from EJEAS. I have used their V6 model before and was impressed. Decided to try the new version, why not? I'll be brief and just point out the differences between them: 1. The Q7 is much louder and actually plays better quality music. The old one wasn't bad, but this new one is a step forward. And because it's louder, I can hear it better in my open helmet at highway speeds. Raising the windshield makes it even better.2. The range is about the same. I ride a lot in the mountains so wasn't expecting much coverage anyway. Basically, as long as there is line of sight, you can talk to your buddies, otherwise you will lose the connection. The good thing about it: as soon as the intercom systems "see" each other again, the connection is automatically restored. It's really great as you don't have to keep pressing the button endlessly until you find your friends.3. What I don't like about the new Q7 is that you can now connect three friends with one button. As in: friend one - click once, friend two - click twice, friend three - click three :). With V6 you have dedicated buttons for each friend. I don't mind too much as I usually travel with a friend or two. I don't know yet how long the battery will last as I haven't had to charge it but I've been riding for the last 3 weekends and have put in about 600 miles. I got about 10 hours on the intercom and 5 hours on the music. No complaints here!5. Couldn't figure out what the antenna was doing as I didn't care if it was up or down. I assume it works. We have the claimed range of 800m and I'm sure it will be more on straight highways. Although where I drive we are lucky because we have a lot of winding roads. I don't think anything is more than half a mile line of sight. And finally, installation was a breeze. Made it to the curb in under 5 minutes. Very simple, not to be overlooked even without instructions. I also moved it to another helmet once to keep the adhesive pads from tearing. I think I could move it back without any problems. You have all the necessary tools in the box. You even get an extra microphone in case you don't like the foldable one. I don't know if it's there, let's assume it works, but I haven't tried it. Point. You can easily pay double or more for the same quality with a "brand", but I wouldn't do that. If you want to save even more, get the V6. Same good quality with even more buttons :) If you want louder speakers this one's hard to beat. Thank you EJEAS and keep it up!
